Star Diamond Awards

Today, the International Star Diamond Award symbolizes the most significant honour for both achievement and genuine quality in the world. Many companies wish to win this award, however only few actually obtain it.

Owned and run by The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS) and presided by Joseph D. Cinque (President & CEO of AAHS), the Star Diamond Awards are received by companies based all over the world, from North America to Europe, South America to Africa and throughout Asia.

World travelers and industry professionals, as well as establishments seeking the Academy’s prestigious recognition frequently submit nominations of prospect recipients. The Board of Trustees decides on which nominations the Academy’s professional assessors should evaluate by anonymous experience.

MCTM has the pleasure of holding together with AAHS the Star Diamond Awards during the MCTM annual gala dinner.

For the MCTM 2010, the winners for the following award categories were:

Finest Hotel Group: Rixos Hotels, Turkey; Finest Yachting Company: Danish Yachts, Denmark; Finest Spa Hotel: Le Touessrok, Mauritius

Finest Eco-Friendly Developments: Kélibia la blanche, Tunisia; Finest Newly Opened Hotel: Grand Hotel Via Veneto, Italy; Finest Private Jet Companies: Smart Air, Luxembourg; Finest Luxury Experiences: Red Travel, Italia; Finest Golf Resorts: Royal Mougins Golf Resort, France; Finest City Boutique Hotels: The Sofa Hotel, Turkey; Finest Hoteliers: Mr. Giuseppe Rossi, from The Splendide Royal Hotel.

In 2010, the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS), presided by Joseph Cinque with Ambassador Extraordinaire Donald Trump, has voted MCTM one of the finest Travel and Luxury exhibitions worldwide.
