The show was created in 2005 with the initial intention to present simultaneously to professional buyers and upper-end clients a selection of the world's most prestigious places, products and services available in the industry.

Constant constructive development has led to provide an optimal business platform for all exhibitors, and visitors, and enabled MCTM to sustain itself among the top international travel venues.

Following a recent deep market analysis, MCTM organizers have found a noticeable increase of exhibitors desire to deal directly with the individual clients. Based on these findings, MCTM management, in collaboration with the Board of Advisers, has decided to set the emphasis on inviting solely high-end consumers.
